I’m interested in the human being in the moment when nothing has to be achieved.
When no role remains. No obligation.
Only being.

My work moves in the tension between freedom and limitation – just like life itself.
I create spaces where people can experience themselves freely and authentically, without shame, far from expectations, norms and ideals.
Spaces where bodies can simply be bodies again:
proud, soft, powerful, vulnerable, beautiful.
Not in spite of their story, but because of it.

My photographic experiences emerge in two worlds:
in the warm water of a 1,000-liter tank – a place between floating and holding, vastness and closeness –
and in an open, colourful room where movement, expression and courage become visible.
The inspiration comes from my time in Africa:
clear air, direct encounters, vibrating colours, earth and fire. A freedom that doesn’t have to be loud to take hold deeply.

I was born in Hamburg – a city I love, but one that has also challenged me.
For a long time, I searched for space. For openness. For myself.
In Africa, I found freedom.
In Hamburg, I found grounding.
Today, I bring both together – in my work and in my studio “Raum ohne Ratio”.
